Stir Frying is a Chinese cooking technique and in recent centuries has spread into other parts of Asia and the West.
Stir frying meat and vegetables is one of my favorite last-minute dinner solutions. Sure, I attempt to make weekly meal plans but schedules and the best laid plans fall apart
— keeps my hungry crowd happy
I must say, when I cooked this stir fried veggie my mom liked it so much ! Its’ my way to make Capsicum n Cabbage Stir Fry.

Ingredients that you need is to make Capsicum n Cabbage Stir fry is:
- Capsicum 5 medium (Julienne cut)
- Cabbage 1 medium sized or 3 cups shredded
- Potato (Optional) 1 small (Julienne cut)
- Tomato 3 (Julienne cut)
- Tomato Paste 2 tbsp
- Onion 1 medium (Round)
- Green Chili 6 Slit (Julienne cut)
- Crushed Black Pepper 1 tsp
- Red Chili Flakes 1 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Soy Sauce ½ tsp
- Oil 5-6 tbsp or as required
In a wok, add 1 tbsp oil. Add Capsicum, pinch of salt, and Crushed Black Pepper. Fry capsicum, on a high flame. Set it aside.
Then add 1 tbsp oil again. Then add Cabbage, pinch of salt, and Crushed Black Pepper. Fry cabbage, on a medium flame. Set it aside too.
Now add 2 tbsp oil. Then add Potatoes, pinch of salt, fry it on. Set it aside too.
Add Oil in a same wok. Add Onions and stir fry it for a minute. Then add Tomato Paste, Crushed Black Pepper, Red Chili Flakes, rest of the Salt, Soy Sauce and fry it for a minute or two.
Then add Fried potatoes, fried Cabbage and stir fry it for more minute or two. Then add Tomato and Green Chili and stir fry on a high flame.
At the end add Capsicum and mix well.
Your Stir Fry Veggies is ready to serve !
You can enjoy it with “Boiled Rice” or “Naan”.
