A Five Masala, (Panch Phoron)

A delicious Masala called Five Masala. This Five Masala also called Paanch Phoron. It is extensively used in Bengali cuisine, Assamese cuisines and India too. It is quite the extraordinary spice. Unlike most spice mixes, Panch Phoron is always used whole and never ground.  I will be posting some of my recipes in the near future…
