To Make a Paratha! Try another weekend Breakfast Recipe by Tehminas’ Kitchen

Ingredients that you need is:

  • White Flour ½ kg
  • Salt 1/4 tea spoon
  • Sugar 1tbs
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • White Flour ½ cup ( for making parathas’ )
  • Green Cardamom seeds ½ tea spoon (crushed)
  • Melted Ghee as required

Directions:

In a bowl, add Flour, Salt, Sugar, Cardamom seeds powder and mix together.

Now add Yogurt and mix well.

Add milk gradually and knead well to form dough. Cover and let it rest for 1 an hour.

After an hour, knead the dough again.

*Take a small dough and make a ball, coat in dry flour and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin.

Spread melted ghee and sprinkle dry flour.

Now take another small dough and repeat the (*) process and put this Paratha up to the 1st one Paratha. Spread melted Ghee and sprinkle dry flour.

And, repeat the same steps until last.

Roll it gently like a Swiss roll. Now with the help of knife. Cut the Swiss roll in 9 to 10 pieces. Now take one Paratha and coat in dry flour and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin.

Heat griddle and fry Paratha from both sides with ghee.

The Delightful Weekend Paratha is ready to serve!
