To Make Special White Chicken Korma Recipe… (Bangladesh’s Traditional)

“A Perfect Recipe for the Special Occasion”

I must include a brief description for this… This White Chicken Korma is perfect with Prince of Rice Pulao i.e, Kalijera Rice Pulao which I uploaded earlier. Because, it’s originated from Bangladesh. And also its’ their traditional dish.

“Prince of Rice Pulao with White Chicken Korma, Traditional Food”

Ingredients that you need to make this special White Chicken Korma is:

  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Sour Yogurt 2tbsp (Well Beaten until Smooth)
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Onion 2 medium sized (Paste)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 table spoon
  • Cumin Seed Powder 1 table spoon
  • Coriander Seed Powder 1 table spoon
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Black Peppers 6
  • Cloves 4
  • Green Cardamoms 5
  • Cinnamon 3
  • Bay Leaves 2
  • Green Chilies’ 10-12 slit (Stripe cutting)
  • Onion 2 medium sized (Finely Sliced)
  • Salt 1 tea spoon or as desired

Directions:

Take a bowl, add Chicken, Yogurt, Onion Paste, Salt, Cumin Seed powder, Coriander Seed Powder. Mix all these ingredients until well combined. Leave to Marinate it for overnight for best result. Otherwise 4hours marination time is compulsory.

Put the oil into saucepan. Heat oil and add half of the sliced onion and fry until light brown. add Black Peppers, Cloves, Green Cardamom, Cinnamon and Bay Leaves. Stir for 10 seconds as the spices sizzle.

Now add marinated chicken and cook 5–6 minutes or until the chicken pieces brown lightly. Add the Green Chilies and milk.

Cover, turn heat to low, and simmer very gently for another 8-10 minutes or until the chicken is tender.

Now, take another sauce pan. Fry the rest of the sliced onion and add fried onions at the serving time.

Your delicious White Chicken Korma is ready to serve !
