Ingredients that you need for Marble Cake is:
- All-purpose Flour 2 cups
- Salt 1/2 tea spoon
- Baking Powder 2 tea spoon
- Coffee 1 table spoon
- Butter half cup (melted)
- Sugar 1 cup
- Milk 1/4 cup
- Fresh Cream 200 grams
- Eggs 3
- Vanilla Essence 1 tea spoon
- Chocolate 100 grams (melted)
- *Cocoa Powder 3/4 cup
In a bowl, first add All-Purpose Flour, Salt, Baking Powder, Coffee. Mix all these ingredients then sift all these dry ingredients twice. Set aside.
Now take another bowl, add Fresh Cream and beat well till creamy.
Now add Vanilla Essence and Sugar into this mixture. Add eggs and beat it again.
Now add gradually dry flour mixture into the eggs batter plus the melted Butter and milk. Mix it well with the help of spatula until well combined.
Now our basic Vanilla Base is ready. Now divide it into 2 halves. Take chocolate and melt it using double boiler or microwave it with 30 seconds interval. Mixing our chocolate in 1 halve of the Vanilla Base. Fold gently with the help of the spatula.
*Here I am giving an option to you guys. You can take Coco Powder instead of Chocolate.
Now, grease 8” inch baking pan with melted Ghee or melted butter. Place a butter paper and pour vanilla base cake batter first then the chocolate batter alternately in prepared baking pan. Now with the help of fork, swirl the Chocolate batter into the Vanilla batter to incorporate it in a marble effect.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 40-50 minutes or until the cake pulls away from the side of the pans and until an inserted wooden pick comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and run a knife around the edges to loosen it from the sides of the pan.
Transfer the cake to the platter and let it cool.

Yes, you guys can use melted ghee or oil instead of using melted butter…
One more thing, if you guys are using salted butter then please skip salt into your dry ingredients.

Note: No need to worry if you don’t have an oven. You can prepare this cake with using a preheated pressure cooker as well. You need to heat your pressure cooker and place your baking pan into it and bake it for 35 to 40 mins in a slow flame. You can check it after 35 or 40 minutes with a wooden pick inserted in the center or sides of the cake. If it comes out clean then your cake is ready to serve.
