Another Chinese Variation is Here.. To Make Coriander Fried Rice…

Ingredients that you need for Coriander Fried Rice is:

  • Basmati Rice ½ kg
  • Salt 1 tea spoon or as desired
  • Oil 4-5tbsp
  • Egg 3
  • Sesame seeds 2 table spoon
  • Fresh coriander 1 cup
  • Garlic 5-6 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Crushed Black Pepper 1 table spoon
  • Crushed Cumin Seeds 1 table spoon
  • Ghee 3tbsp
  • Green Chilies’ 4 slit


Soak rice for 20 to 30 minutes at least. If you are taking other kind of rice then soak them accordingly.

In the meanwhile, take a sauce pan. First add water. Heat the water and put rice into it. Bring it to boil and strain the extra water when 3 parts of rice is done.

*Remember water should be heat up only, don’t bring it to the boiling position.

Then Cover and steam cook on low flame for 2 minutes only.

Now beat the eggs using fork. Take another pan, heat oil then add Chopped Garlic and Green Chilies. After a half of a minute, add beaten eggs and mix it well.

When egg is cooked in a proper way then add Fresh Coriander, Cumin seeds, crushed black pepper and mix it well for few minutes.

Now add boiled rice and salt.

Mix all these ingredients on a high flame. And cover it in a low flame for 1 minute only.

Your simple Coriander Fried Rice is ready to dish out!

Sprinkle Sesame seeds and serve. Happy Cooking 🙂

You can use Parboiled Rice here to get better Chinese Flavor.
