Now, grease 8” inch baking pan with melted Ghee or melted butter. Place a butter paper and pour cake batter in prepared baking pan.

Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 40-50 minutes or until the cake pulls away from the side of the pans and a toothpick inserted in the center of the cakes comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and run a knife around the edges to loosen it from the sides of the pan.

Transfer the cake to the platter and let it cool.

Note: No need to worry if you don’t have an oven. You can prepare this cake with using a preheated pressure cooker as well. You need to heat your pressure cooker and place your baking pan into it and bake it for 35 to 40 mins in a slow flame. You can check it after 35 or 40 minutes with a toothpick inserted in the center or sides of the cake. If it comes out clean then your cake is ready to serve.

Happy Baking 🙂
