To Make a Rice Kheer

  • Basmati Rice 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom 4-5
  • Dried Milk 1/2 cup
  • Sugar
  • Raisins
  • Almonds (Blanched and chopped)
  • Pistachio (Blanched and chopped)
  • Coconut powder 3tbs
  • Water
  • Kewra Water  2-3 drops

Directions:

First take Rice and Cardamom and make a fine powder.

In a pot, add Water and Dried Milk. Mix it well. Then add a Rice Powder that we made before. Take full 3 n half table spoons of powder. Mix it well again.

Now turn the burner. Bring it to boil, and cook for 5-6 minutes, keep stirring in between.

Add Sugar, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Keep stirring !

Note here: If you see the consistency of your Kheer is not thick, then you can take 1/4 cup of water and add 1/2 of table spoon rice powder. Mix it and add it into the Kheer. Mix well and Keep stirring.

Add Almonds, Raisins and Coconut powder 2tbs. Mix well !

In the end, add Kewra water and give it a good mix.

Garnish it with Almonds, Coconut powder and Raisins.

Our Rice Kheer is ready to serve !
