To Make a Cashew Nuts Pulao
Ingredients that you need is:
- Cashew Nuts
- Basmati Rice 250ml i.e. 1cup
- Onion 2 finely sliced
- Ghee 3tbsp
- Bay leaves 2
- Star Anise 1
- Cardamom 3
- Cinnamon 2
- Cloves 5
- Mace a small piece approx. ½ inch!
- Cumin seeds ½ tea spoon
- Salt 1 tea spoon or as desired
- Green Chilies’ 4 slit
- Ginger Garlic Paste ½ tsb
Soak rice for 15 to 20 minutes at least. If you are taking other kind of rice then soak them accordingly.
In the mean while, take a sauce pan. First add Ghee and heat it.
Then add Cinnamon, Bay leaves, Cardamom, Star Anise, Cloves, Mace, Cumin Seeds and Cashew nuts into the ghee, mix till light golden fry.
Now add onion sliced and fry them like it only changes its’ color.
Add Green chilies’ and Ginger garlic paste into it. Mix well not more than 2 or 3 minutes.
Add Salt and mix again.
Add the Basmati rice (soaked) and mix gently. Add water 1 and ¾ cup exact water (means 1 cup and ¾ cup) but not exactly 2 cups of water.
When its’ water dry then Cover and steam cook on low flame for 5-8 minutes.
Your simple Cashew nut pulao is ready to dish out!
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
